LOJ Conversions keeps a limited stock of USED Y33 Infiniti Q45 Differentials. These R200 differentials are 3.69:1 ratio and come equipped with a factory Nissan Viscous Limited Slip Differential (VLSD). This differential will drop your engine RPM in all gears at all speeds by 10%. If you were cruising at 3000RPM with your stock 4.08:1 differential, you will be at 2700RPM with this differential. This is easily the most common upgrade for LS swapped Z32 300ZXs.
These differentials are a 100% bolt-in upgrade for 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX Non-Turbo Models (Z32 NA) with two exceptions.
- The Q45 differentials come equipped with a 4-bolt input flange that has a larger bolt pattern than the NA Z32 flange. If you are buying this differential at the same time as your LS Swap Kit, you can select "Non-Stock Differential" and "Q45" and we will build your driveshaft with the correct flange to match. Otherwise, the input flange from your NA Z32 differential can be swapped onto the Q45 differential and your existing driveshaft will work.
- The Q45 differential cover is a standard capacity without any cooling fins. You can swap your Z32 cover on for added capacity and cooling fins. This is not necessary for the differential to fit, it is a performance upgrade.
If you are still running the Z32 transmission, you will need to swap to a Z32 Twin-Turbo speed sensor for your speedometer to read properly. Otherwise, you can install a TT speed sensor gear onto your NA speed sensor and then install the sensor into the transmission 180* rotated from its standard installation orientation. Lastly, if neither of these are options for you, you can install an aftermarket speedo correction box like a Dakota Digital SGI-5E.
