Anodized aluminum billet oil cap for many General Motors vehicles. There are 2 different oil cap styles used on LS-based engines. This oil cap has special features that consolidate the differences.
The top 7/8"-14 threaded port accepts 10AN ORB adapter fittings. Furthermore, it features internal stainless steel baffling that can be used for crankcase venting air/oil separation.
The standard cap includes a ORB plug, venting feature can be utilized in the future.
The VTA kit prevents the crankcase from pressurizing. The vented oil cap adds additional air/oil separating filtration to the crankcase that is service free. The 10AN adapter fitting features an integrated check valve for roll-over protection and a filter.
The VTE kit has an integrated air/oil separator that accelerates oil condensation through a reusable stainless steel baffle. Furthermore, a new O-ring sealed PCV valve is introduced that prevents intake pressure from entering the crankcase. Also, in the event of a backfire, the PCV valve prevents combustible vapors from igniting in the crankcase.
