The LOJ Conversions Gen III/IV Small Block Chevy (LS Engines) and Gen V Small Block Chevy (LT Engines) to Jaguar 8HP70 Transmission Adapter is specifically designed for mating the sought after ZF 8-Speed transmissions to your favorite LS and LT engines. The straight-forward approach and overall simple design will allow a seamless integration of these LS engines with the Jaguar version of the ZF8. The adapter plate design incorporates a 360* mounting surface and includes provisions to mount to GM factory style cast oil pans for enhanced rigidity. 

The included billet aluminum Flexplate is a complete replacement of the factory LS/LT flexplate. Don't waste your time with torque converter adapters that still rely on the weak stock flexplate. Upgrade to a fully billet CNC machined flexplate from the start for maximum power holding and durability. 

The steel converter pilot adapter is press fit into the stock pilot bearing register on the crankshaft to prevent unwanted noise from slip-fit parts and to properly align the converter to the crankshaft.

  • Billet Aluminum Flexplate, 9lbs Rotating Mass, CNC machined, anodized, and laser engraved for long lasting good looks. Designed for standard length Manual Transmission LS Flywheel Bolts (ARP or OEM)
  • 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Transmission Adapter Plate fabricated from USA Sourced Metallurgically Certified Heat Treated Aluminum with integrated dust shield.
  • Zinc-Plated Grade 8.8 or Higher Hardware

Engine Compatibility:

  • All Gen 3 LS Engines. 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, EXCEPT for Early long-crank 5.3 and 6.0 engines. Click Here to see a complete list.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Will this kit require any modifications to my engine or transmission?
    • Some. The 8HP transmission bellhousing will need to be modified to clear the snout of the starter on the LS engine. Two existing holes at the bottom of the transmission will need to be drilled out to 7/16"
